Members Celebration During Chinati Weekend
On Saturday, October 8, 2022 from 6-7 PM, Ballroom Marfa will host a private, Ballroom members-only cocktail reception for the unveiling of the limited-edition silkscreen print Somi S’ek, The Land of the Sun, La Tierra Del Sol, produced in collaboration with the artists Carolina Caycedo and David de Rozas. Guests will enjoy complimentary cocktails and a private tour of The Blessings of the Mystery, led by Ballroom Marfa’s Executive Director and Curator Daisy Nam. The event will take place during Chinati Weekend, immediately before the Community Dinner at the Chinati Arena.
Join Ballroom Marfa’s international community of supporters to stay connected to our dynamic calendar of programs in Marfa and afar. Collaboration is at the center of our work at Ballroom and our members are our biggest collaborators. Together with our members we work to create space and provide the resources to artists and musicians that is necessary for discovery and creativity to flourish.
There are many levels at which you can contribute to become a member, each with a unique gift for your support, including Ballroom apparel, posters, invitations to private events, artist prints, and more. Gifts may also be declined to increase the tax-deductibility of your dues.
Charitable contributions of any amount are warmly welcomed and 100% tax deductible, toward your choice of our visual arts, music, public programs, or general support. Ballroom patrons also recognize the need to ensure access to contemporary art and music for future generations. Donations may be allocated towards Ballroom’s cash reserve to build a sound foundation for the future of the organization and to safeguard against uncertain times.
