Ballroom alum and good friend Maria Hassabi — who performed her dance piece, Gloria, at Ballroom in 2007 — has a new installation-based performance piece, SHOW, premiering at The Kitchen in New York on November 3-5, 2011. Alex Waterman, who performed at the Ballroom Benefit 2011 and with whom we’re presenting Vidas Perfectas, Waterman’s version of Robert Ashley’s opera, Perfect Lives, is doing the sound. Small world.
